{Sunday, September 26, 2010 , 8:59 PM} PARIS - CITY OF LIGHT is it really that beautiful like how you think it is?? to me, initially i portrayed the city as a lively and romantic place.. where every couple would ♥ to go there once in their lives or during their honeymoon. aww.. and have you ever discussed this city, Paris with your friends before?? so what is the first thing that crossed your mind when you heard of this place?? erm.. to me.. it was.. the luxurious brand names, high-end products, arts and museums, the french cuisine, fashion etc. this city offers us with a very relaxing lifestyle.. many of my friends and seniors who had been there before shared with me their experience. but that was only for quite a short period they spent. mostly went there is for holidays. only a few went there is for study purpose. and they are guys.. and yaya, everyone told me the same thing.. it was fun and enjoyable. ah huh?? i thought it was once supposed to be like what they told me.. but those are only the positive side that i knew.. i never try to discover and explore more about this city. only until today.. after knowing the negative side.. i m starting to worry.. or feeling kinda afraid.. how i wish that the movie isn't depicting the real scenario of Paris. it is like so chaotic *\(>_<)/ why do i said all this suddenly?? it started like this.. today our family went out for breakfast at Toa Payoh, 汕头海鲜餐馆. we had dim sum and it was reeeeally YUMMY :D :D they have more varieties than yum cha i think :Xx opps. so on our way back home.. mommy suddenly asked me about the overseas exchange programme. she said how is it processing now etc etc.. and you know.. all parents are always worried for their own children. so they started to warn me of this cannot be done, that place cannot go, must be back at home after i finished school EVERY DAY, cannot go out at night and stuffs like that. i knew they are very very concerned.. cause Paris isn't a place like you make a call.. and someone can just take a bus and will reach in 30 minutes. is a place that you need to sit for over 10 hours of flight then only you can reach. brother was driving.. and he overheard our conversation. and he said.. erm.. mei ah, i think you should really go and watch the movie "TAKEN" then you will know why we don't allow you to do so many things. well well, so when i reached home. the first thing i did is to download the movie.. after that.. sit back and relax..  is a story about this father, a former spy who really ♥ his daughter a lot.. and when tracking down his daughter after she was kidnapped by the slave traders while traveling to Paris. those young girls are really poor thing.. they are forced to become sex slaves.. those bastards inject don't know what shit into them. really WTF!! they got a place.. is like curtains after curtains to make it as dividers like that. inside each space there is one young girl. workers from foreign countries.. queued at the entrance. paying to have sex. one after another.. some girls died inside and some like already affected with disease. really sad. those guys kidnapped them to do this are inhuman!! i don't like.. they are so cruel.. sÖbb◦* "\(T _ T)/" this traders are also very cunning. they target young girls at the start when they alight at Paris airport. they have a few people located at different places. and they followed you to the taxi stand whereby you need to cab to your accommodation. they purposely find quite good looking guys to attract young girls' attention. and they will act one kind soul.. asked do you need their help to carry your luggage up the taxi. then if you accept their offer.. they will proceed to make friend with you. then said want share cab together. cause in Paris.. taking taxi is expensive!! then also they will say want join me at the party tonight?? asked you your address and said see you later under your block. so best is don't ever reveal your details. they even asked people to go your house and kidnapped you if you try to runaway. so innocent girls don't know these tricks are all the slave traders planned to hunt them down. eventually they fallen into their trap. and there is no way for them to turn back. saodah darling told me.. that's why some girls went missing after their trip. OH MY GOOOOOOD!! aaaaaahhhh.. they are such scary monsters!! i don't like to see those scenes where the girls are like.. is just very torturing. cannot cannot. how i wish someone can tell me.. Paris isn't like this :( i thought it was only those countries that are not well-developed do such things. how come?? what human trafficking you are telling me now.. [i mean the movie] legal drugs and prostitution?? clubbing days and nights?? oh shit!! this really isn't what i like. i think i need to calm myself down.. and start to pen down what should i really do when studying abroad. you know.. i m always not being an independent girl. all along i have been like a kid.. always cuddling around my parents and best friends. every thing i don't know.. they helped me. they accompanied me. they guided me. even my dear kai also took great care of me. so when comes to certain problems.. i don't know how to handle.. the only thing i will do is.. cry. really useless. so.. i should really start to learn now.. and is really.. |
